Building Bridges, LLC opened its doors as a State of CT Birth to Three Provider in June of 2007.  The mission of Building Bridges is to create an agency that successfully helps families bridge the gaps between themselves, their children, the community, schools, and health practictioners.  Building Bridges works directly with the Office of Early Childhood at the State of Connecticut to assist hundreds of children and families every year.

Building Bridges provides a team of amazing teachers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, social workers, and dieticians.  All interventionists maintain a valid CT professional license and compliancy with all State of CT requirements.  All staff makes a point of staying educated on the current best practices related to early intervention services.

Building Bridges places 100% of its focus on serving the families of CT enrolled in the Birth to Three program. Our agency is exclusively a Birth to Three agency that believes in the concepts of early intervention. Our staff takes pride in knowing the potential impact they can have with the child and family by reaching them at a young age.

Each year the State of CT monitors all Birth to Three agencies on four federal compliance indicators. Building Bridges continues to score 100% on each indicator year after year.  Families enrolled in Birth to Three complete an annual survey rating the performance of their providers on a variety of areas. Each year Building Bridges exceeds the scores of the State average.

Building Bridges maintains a great partnership with our lead agency at the State, The Office of Early Childhood. We encourage you to visit the OEC's website, birth23.org and select the For Families/Videos tab to see what a typical visit may look like and read about many of the evidence based practices that Building Bridges currently follows.
