Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Autism Evaluator
This is an in-person position, not telehealth. Unqualified candidates will not be considered.
We are currently looking for an Autism Evaluator/Licensed Clinical Social Worker to cover parts or all of our territory in Central CT. We are looking for an Autism Evaluator/LCSW that wants to become part of a great team and provide support to the children and families of CT in their natural environments. The efforts we make have a vast impact on the growth and development of these children. Autism Evaluators/LCSWs of all experience levels are welcome to apply, but you must possess a LCSW License in the State of CT, be able to perform autism evaluations independently, have experience with Autism, and have some pediatric background.

Part-time/Fee-for-Service employees are compensated at an all-inclusive hourly rate. The following is taken into consideration: Service Coordinator tasks, mandatory staff meetings, and time spent for average transportation.

We would consider offering full-time LCSW/Autism Evaluator employment, in which there is an extensive benefit package paired with a full-time salary.

Building Bridges provides Birth to Three/Early Intervention services in the home environment in the following towns: Cromwell, East Hartford, East Windsor, Ellington, Enfield, Glastonbury, Hartford, Hebron, Manchester, Marlborough, New Britain, Newington, Portland, Rocky Hill, Somers, South Windsor, Suffield, Tolland, Vernon, West Hartford, Wethersfield, Windsor, Windsor Locks.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate children that have been identified with concerns for autism.

Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.

Provide direct social work services to children using evidence-based interventions.

Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Stay informed about current research and best practices in early intervention social work.

Attend and participate in interdisciplinary teaming meetings to discuss and coordinate holistic care for children.

Provide guidance and education to families on strategies to support their child's social and emotional development.

Timely and accurate submission of necessary documentation.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Valid CT state license as a LCSW.

Must be able to perform autism evaluations independently.

Experience working with children diagnosed with autism.

Experience working in the field of pediatrics or early intervention.

Ability to adapt approaches based on the differing needs/situations of each child.

Knowledge of development milestones and challenges in children.

Great communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.

Ability to provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and others in carrying out intervention strategies.

Genuine passion for working with young children to support their development and health.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, attention to detail.

Adherence to ethical standards and a commitment to providing excellent care.
